Experience Idora Park

The Idora Park Experience Museum lets you experience the excitement of Idora Park, and on Saturday, May 20, Jim and Toni Amey took their show on the road.

The Black Horse Tavern & Grille in Girard hosted the Idora Park Experience Museum, serving a Hot Dog Special with Idora Park-"like" fries. Tammi Anderson and her friend Kathy served up authentic Idora Park Candy Floss with the same equipment that her family operated at Idora Park. Tammi's grandmother brought cotton candy to Idora Park in 1929, and Tammi's family sold cotton candy at Idora Park from 1929 through Idora Park's closure in 1984.

For more than 20 years, Jim and Toni Amey have been scouring the country for Idora Park artifacts. They have amassed the most extensive collection of Idora Park items in existence. If you worked or played at Idora Park, you will not want to miss this extraordinary museum.

Join the celebration on June 17-18, from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM. The entrance fee of $5 per person helps to maintain the museum. Follow them on Facebook to get all the news and announcements. The Idora Park Experience Museum is located at 4450 S. Turner Road, Canfield, Ohio.
